It is away from the center of town, yet close enough to be in downtown in less than 3 minutes. Unique Ava Haus allows guests to enjoy the benefits of the country and still be minutes from wineries, shopping, restaurants and the natural parks of the area. Guests can have a true feel for the history of the region when they stay in an authentic German homestead complete with the original well, thick limestone walls and even the original root cellar where the pioneers stayed during times of danger. Summary: We loved this house! The decor and environment is so very nice. Patricia had snacks, baked muffins, juice and water for us, the house had everything we needed. Highly recommend this place to stay. We loved sitting out on the back porch in the evenings And close to town where we spent our days.

Summary: I really wanted to sit outside and have a fire in stone fireplace but it was by host side of the house. Didn’t like being attached to her actual home. Everything else was great if I stayed there again it would be one of the other houses, on the property. Have to drive to town or uber

Summary: This was my 2nd visit to this property, and I will continue to return. The location is great and the house it self was charming. There many nice added touches that made us feel so welcome. This is a great place to unwind with a nice selections of restaurants near. It was once again a very enjoyable experience.
